Go to the Sign Up page, and select the Senior Crew, Regular Crew, or Career Advice.
This gives you access to your learning Portal.
You’'ll be provided with study notes and sample questions to prepare you for your interview.
Then, you will send us your CV, yachting experience, details about the job or jobs you’re interviewing for, and anything else that may be relevant for us to review.
Once you have a good understanding of the Study Notes, we will schedule our first One-on-One, personal video call.
This an important step in becoming confident on video interviews.
You will be asked about your experience, what you are trying to achieve for your next job, find out any details about upcoming interviews, review the study notes, discuss how you appear on camera, and finish with a practice ‘Interview’.
The course is designed to give you the time to study efficiently, work on any problem areas, and practice with your friends or family.
We then schedule your second Video call. This call is designed to be your mock interview. Depending on your particular case, we will role-play as needed. We will then review and make any adjustments or improvements to ensure you show up as your best… confident, well spoken, informed, and intelligent.
Senior Crew will have the option of a third video call, to really brush up on those skills.
Going through the SYC program will give you the tools, skills and practice to prepare for the real thing. After each real interview, let us know your feedback, your successes or challenges, and we will be able to help you improve further or congratulate you on your dream job!
